Trevor Wright - Second Horn
Trevor began playing at the age of 12, when he learned the trumpet. He played in the school orchestra as well as a American-style marching band, and later played in Hitchin Wind Band.
Trevor enjoys classical music as well as 60's and 70's pop, but says that overall he enjoys all types of music.
Thinking about playing with Fakenham, Trevor most enjoys playing the many and varied styles of music, as well as the new friendships the band has brought. He also enjoys a bit of social drinking in the pub after rehearsals! (Well, it is thirsty work!)
Trevor recalls his most memorable incident while playing a function at RAF Marham, when a gun salute of around 6 - 7 explosives were set off behind the band without warning. He says it was a wonder that the band managed to finish!
Trevor has recently moved from cornet to tenor horn, and is really enjoying the change. Trevor is also the Chairman of the Band.
