Stuart Grout - Bb Bass
Stuart started playing kit and tuned percussion in 2002/3, joining Fakenham Town Band in 2017. After a short break from the band Stuart decided to learn to play bass, and is making great progress.
Stuart sings in the choir at the church in Walsingham. He is working towards Grade 4 piano. He has played kit on stage at small rock festivals in his home town of Milton Keynes. Stuart says that music is his number one passion in life, and there aren't many genres he doesn't enjoy.
When asked about Fakenham Town Band, Stuart says he enjoys the sense of friendship and community as well as the high standard of musicianship - and of course the social aspects!
Away from band, Stuart enjoys long coastal and beach walks, photography, local history, dance, and collecting/upcycling antique furniture.
