Bass Trombone - Terry Jarvis

Joining the band in 1947, Terry is the most experienced player in the band. He is probably the most versatile too, having played every instrument in the band except soprano and percussion (there's time yet Terry!)

Terry always has a funny tale about 'the old days' ...there was the time the rear door flew open on the coach on the way home from a concert, scattering the instruments along the road behind...and then the time that the band played at Lord Cholmondeley's Golden Wedding celebration and the strength of the free-flowing Champagne caught some of them out - at least they thought they sounded good!

Terry also looks after the band's library of over 1000 pieces of music and when not involved in band activities, he enjoys a spot of DIY.
