3rd Cornet - James Smith

James joined Fakenham Town Band in 2009 having started playing cornet aged just 9 at junior school.

James joined the band wanting to play for enjoyment rather than just progress through the exam grades. What he likes about the band is "being part of a great sound that the band makes, everyone being so friendly and I just have great fun at practices and performances."

Aside from the band, James' other hobbies are Scouts, Basketball, Badmington, BMX and Mountain Boarding.
