Solo Cornet - Chris Sayer

Chris was 7 when he started to play the cornet in 1971. He started by playing in Salvation Army and school bands. After a break of several years, Chris decided to take up playing again in 2000 and has become a key figure in Fakenham Town Band, not only undertaking the often thankless task of band manager, but also in recruiting many of the current players.

Chris leads a hectic life, helping out with the local canoe club in addition to his band commitments.

Unfortunately, Chris is too shy to recollect some of his embarrassing moments with us...give us time!
